YOUTH

 YOUTH TRAINING
 SATURDAYS, 11AM @ QE2 ASTRO
Western Vikings in the past have always relied on pupils who have left school to join the team. This has in the past left holes in the team, when we do not get the numbers to help replace players who have retired.

In 2003 a youth rugby training session was started in Peel, the aim of this was to introduce new players to rugby and hopefully develop a love for the sport. The aim of the youth system is that in future years, we hope to have these children representing the club at a senior level and to have more than one team playing to cope with the numbers we hope to have.
 GIVE IT A TRY
The club has at the moment four RFU trained coaches and this number is set to increase with each passing year. The training sessions that we have are on Saturday mornings from 11am to 12pm, these training sessions are held at the Queen Elizabeth II High School.

For those who wish to attend and want more information please contact me by email on youth@westernvikingsrufc.co.uk. If attending these sessions please bring football boots and wet weather clothing in case conditions change.
